Welcome to the wonderful world of Nursery and Pre-K 

Reminder:  AM Session 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
                  PM Session 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
            Full Day Session 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
*Drop off and pick-up of your child will be at the main doors of the school

Important : In order to volunteer for classroom activities you must be Virtus trained. You can pick up a packet in the main office. Please do not send your child to school with personal toys. They may get lost and they can be a distraction to the other children.
Snack must be sent in from home. While preparing their lunch or snack please keep in mind there is no microwave or refrigerator available to us for the children lunches/snacks. 
Full Day Children will need 2 snacks with 2 drinks. They will also need lunch with a drink.

Reminder: If they are tearful keep it cheerful !!

What we're learning in Pre-K:
- In Happily Ever After, the first story is "The Three Bears."
- We will learn a number and a letter each week. 
- The students will learn the sounds that letters make.
- The students will be able to recognize and write upper and lower case letters. 

What we're learning in Nursery:
- The students will be learning colors, first, the color red.
- The students will be counting and learning their numbers.
- The students will use hands on materials for one-to-one correspondence in mathematics.

For both Nursery and Pre-K:
- The students will be exploring the life cycle of an apple tree. 
- The students will have hands on activities with apples and other objects. 
- We will celebrate Johnny Appleseed by making homemade applesauce!

Throughout the year, we will be working on seasonal activities and projects. The students will be exposed to holidays through the use of the SmartBoard, hands on activities,
 and real world stories told by Mrs. Harty
